It sure is a different place in the world we live in with all of the new norms we are facing after such a catastrophic beginning to year 2020. I thought I would send a link of a great place to stay updated with all covid-19 related concerns brought to you by The University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Never will Tennessee weather cease to amaze me! You have to love the sunny day’s when without warning – there it is, rain comes from nowhere when you least expect it. The rain is beautiful as alway’s, though it can bring on a glum vibe without the sun in my opinion. This picture taken is from two beautiful flowers my daughter planted in the back yard not sure if they would actually grow as she pointed out.
Out and about at the grocery store today I was pleasantly surprised to see my parents shopping at Kroger nearest to where I reside, as she lives in Summertown, TN and I’m here in Columbia, TN. My mom ran up to me and gave me a great big hug and asked what I was doing there! You have to love mom’s right!?
Mortgage rates are still pretty strong, but seem to be rising with only a vague variation from preceding months. As noted here from Bankrate.com 3.02% is the going interest rate for an FHA (First time home buyers loan) and a credit score between 640 – 659. That is with a 3.5% down payment of $7,000 on a loan amount of $200,000 at 30 years fixed.
It is a long established fact that the economy fluctuates rapidly, sometimes without even a blink of an eye notice. I am refinancing at a lower rate with a conventional loan to lessen my payment through both – a lower interest rate, and through also losing mortgage insurance with a conventional loan.
